Having a successful academic experience is increasingly dependent on access to a computer, reliable Internet access, and appropriate online software, tools and services. Some College courses also require students to have a laptop to participate in classes and labs.
Students are strongly encouraged to buy a Windows 10 laptop if they do not already own one.
While we strive to make our services accessible on multiple devices, a mobile phone will not be sufficient and does not meet the requirements for many instructional activities. Chromebooks do not yet meet the minimum requirements for all courses, but support for them is increasing.
The College is committed to making affordable laptops available through its bookstore with options for students to use financial aid to cover the cost. If students already have a laptop, it should meet the following minimum requirements.
