Fire Safety Training
PCCC’s Public Safety Academy (PSA) offers career and volunteer firefighter training for Passaic County with state-of-the-art training and facilities.
North Jersey Imaging Academy
The NJIA offers advanced training to ARRT certified radiographers in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Mammography.
Allied Health Programs
Allied Health Program is designed to train entry-level healthcare workers with the skills necessary to succeed in today’s job market.
The WorkFirst NJ grant offers the following 26-week training opportunities for qualifying TANF, GA, or SNAP candidates:

- Computer Skills and Professional Development
- High School Equivalency
- Intensive Math
The Youth Rise grant program helps out-of-school Passaic County youth between the ages of 16 – 24 to obtain a high school equivalency diploma, while increasing their life skills and preparing for college and career readiness.

Next generation appliance technicians trained through a partnership between PCCC and global consumer electronics and appliance giant Haier.
PCCC partnered with the global electronics and appliance manufacturers Haier/GE Appliances to develop a pilot program to train electro-mechanical maintenance technicians to replace an aging workforce. Read more about the program in the Paterson Times.
Improve Your Business Skills: You may be able to take advantage of a grant-funded Basic Skills Workforce Training Program and upgrade your workplace skills.
You must be employed and be able to provide your employer’s Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), among other requirements. Note: state, county, and municipal employees are not eligible for the trainings under the rules of this grant.

Are you a planning to enroll in college but need to learn basic English? If English is not your native language and you would like to become more proficient in reading, writing, and speaking, our program is for you.
