The Alumni Association of Passaic County Community College was formed to foster alumni pride and to maintain a strong foundation of affection and appreciation for the college that gave our alumni their start. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the association provides an opportunity for alumni to volunteer their time and talent to advance the cause of education and to strengthen the college-community relationship. Staying connected to your colleagues provides opportunities for life-long, satisfying friendships.
The current Board of Directors consists of 8 members, with a wide array of expertise from a variety of different backgrounds. We look forward to another productive and successful year, and welcome the new board as they assist and guide us in our important work. All terms below commenced on June 1, 2011.

Becoming a Member
All graduates of PCCC who have received an associate degree or diploma from PCCC are eligible to become life members of the association. Life members are eligible for tuition remission for one course each semester on a space available basis.
To become a member of the Alumni Association applicant must complete the Association Membership Application and pay the one time life membership fee of $75. A membership card is issued after forms are received and verified. These forms are available online, at general meetings, or at the Main Campus in the President’s office. You can also join the association during Gradfest which is a mandatory event for all graduates. At this event, you will receive final clearance in order to participate in the graduation ceremony, plus pick up your cap and gown, graduation invitations, and tickets. You will also have an opportunity to meet representatives from Career Services, Transfer Specialists, and the Alumni Association

Passaic County Community College: Pride in Our Graduates
Some of the benefits available to PCCC Alumni include:
- Tuition remission for one course (up to 4 credits) each semester on a space available basis*
- Library privileges, including borrowing privileges, shall be available to members of the Alumni Association, subject to Learning Resources regulations; proper identification is required

*Alumni bear responsibility for course fees. This privilege may be denied on the basis of unacceptable past attendance or classroom performance. All grades will be based on the current grading policy of the college and will appear on all future transcripts of the alumni exercising this privilege.
These benefits are not available for “special members” until after graduation.

Alumni Association Academic Scholarship(Back to top of page)
The Alumni Association Academic Scholarship is now available and will be awarded to one (1) student who demonstrates academic excellence.
The scholarship is awarded for attendance at Passaic County Community College for one academic year (fall 2014/spring 2015). Student must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or better, cannot be on the PCCC Alumni Board, and must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college level credits. The student must also have completed 12 college level credits, must be matriculated in a degree program and must be a resident of Passaic County to apply for the fall 2014/spring 2015 semester award of the academic year.
The recipient will receive a scholarship of $500.00 for the fall 2014 to be credited for tuition, fees and/or books. The student will receive a letter explaining the terms of the scholarship and must present a copy of this letter to the Bursar’s Office during registration of the fall 2014 semester in order for funds to be credited. The Student Development Committee will review all applications and select a recipient.
